Once it happened that a stranger I met in my club where I play snooker wanted to know my mobile number. I said 9 and stopped. Then he asked me where are the remaining numbers. I told him it is just 9. He said "you must be joking". A week earlier the same person (Ramesh) had asked me a question about himself on the basis of Astrology and he added "My Janma Rashi is Karkataka (in Tamil he said Katagam). I said that "I need to know where the remaining 8 grahas are and including the Lagna it is actually 9". To which Ramesh said "all the Astrologers in the world give prediction based on Moon Sign and Moon Star (Nakshatra)". I said "I cannot tell you anything reliable if you tell me only the position of Moon in your horoscope". So I reminded Ramesh, "The other day you gave me only the position of one Graha (Planet) in your horoscope and so I will give you only 1 number out of the 10 digit mobile number". Only now Ramesh understood what I wanted to convey. So the greatest joke in Astrology is trying to read the karma of a person by just knowing their Janma Rasi (Moon Sign). Just as you cannot call someone using your mobile phone with just 1 number out of the 10 digit mobile number, I cannot (no Astrologer) tell something specific about you if you just give me the position of Moon in your horoscope.
