Which Planets rules the 27 Stars (Nakshatra) - QRG Series

First step is you got to commit to memory the list of Stars (Nakshatra) from Aswini to Revati. These are not usually a single star. In reality Aswini is a name given to a constellation in Mesha (Aries) which spans from zero degree to 13 degrees and 20 minutes of the arc.

An interesting point is that the 1st letter in any language as the A sound in it. So the list of 27 stars start with Aswini.

Every 28 days the Moon goes one full circle around  the 360 degrees of the zodiac giant wheel. Each of these days you may notice that on the background of the Moon there is a group of stars (constellation). Next day you will notice Moon has moved over the next constellation. Even though the Moon is so close to earth and Stars are at an unimaginable distance, we use the curtain of stars to fix the Moon's position.

Try to associate the Star Number to the Star. For example the Saturn stars Pushyami, Anuradha and Uttarabhadra are on a single line and you know that Saturn rules Number 8. It is a coincidence that these stars even in the serial order has the same numbers. That's surprising.

Take Aswini, Makha and Moola - They are all ruled by Ketu. So if a child is born in any of these 3 stars then the first Dasha the child has to go through is that of KETU.

Exercise: Ask someone to tell a name of one of the stars. Let's say your friend says Revati. You should be able to recall from your mind that Revati is star number 27 and Revati is ruled by Mercury.

Though this is a beginners stuff, you will be surprised  that even professional Astrologers sometimes make mistakes when discussing Nakshatra Padas.

The above table is the most important step on the long staircase leading you to the pinnacle of Astrology.
